I’m an Adobe Flex developer and Flash developer from Eindhoven, The Netherlands. This blog is my online scratchbook of things that I usually forget. Hopefully others may benefit from this as well.
I decided to make monthly donations to open source projects that I use and post that on my blog. I choose a project each month and make a very moderate donation of € 10-€ 20 (or dollars) as a start. This will probably make me more aware of the software I’m using and appreciate the time that people spend into making a free product. I may increase the amount or frequency as I go along. I think everyone should make donations to open source projects, especially if you are a professional who benefits from open source projects.
